Acupuncture to Awaken the Goddess Within

Today I helped a woman who has had multiple miscarriages in her attempts to get pregnant again. I can see by her tongue and pulse that she is slowly getting stronger through her treatments. Her circulation is better, her stress is lower and her energy and spirit are stronger than before. I think she is on her way and the medical care she gets from me is a lot different from what her doctors are doing for her, and as many say much more pleasant. I'm not doing a lot of blood tests or unpleasant procedures, instead she is leaving my office feeling relaxed and centered. I have gotten to know her well over the past several months and I am aware of some of the factors that have made conceiving and holding a baby difficult. I think she is on her way to a successful pregnancy now. I know it is just a matter of a burst of creativity coming forth. I will be happy with her when she conceives and do all I can to help her hold her pregnancy.

The reproductive area is such a sacred part of the woman's body. It is here that she stores her vital powers to bring forth life. So many women, however, do not honor these parts as sacred. There may be shame or hatred. She may call her period a curse and wish she didn't have to deal with that side of herself. Part of my goal as a health practitioner and acupuncturist who deals with women's health is to awaken a sense inside a woman that she is divine, in face, a goddess. I want her to know that divine peace lies within her as well as tremendous creative force that can bring visions to life.
